I just heard a report of a suicide at Disneyland tonight. the radio reporter(AM 640 KFI Los Angeles) stated that a man staying at a Disneyland hotel with a co-worker. The man climbed out on to the balcony turned and made a statement to his room mate and jumped to his death. Police would not say what his statement was they said that they were quite sure that it was suicide. Has anyone heard anything else? It was on the 1 am news, but mysteriously absent from the 1:30 news on AM 640 in Los Angeles Ca,
How could anyone be driven over the edge at Disneyland?!
It’s a world of laughter,
A world of tears.
It’s a world of hopes,
And a world of fears.
There’s so much that we share,
That it’s time we’re aware,
It’s a small world after all.
Well that answers that question.
As far as the news goes, the Disney folk can get a story sqashed in LA or Florida.....
People need to remember that there are hundres of thousands of people that go to these parks, and basic ratio demands that there are deaths and births.....
He was tired of standing on line.
Man jumps to death from Disneyland hotel
Fri May 2, 2008 5:35pm EDT Email | Print | Share| Reprints | Single Page| Recommend (-) [-] Text [+] LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A man apparently jumped to his death on Friday from the 14th floor of the Disneyland Hotel at the world-famous amusement park in Southern California, police said.
The man, who was in town on business and not immediately identified by authorities, was killed in the 14-story fall from his hotel room balcony. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Right now it is certainly looking like a suicide,” Anaheim Police Sgt. Rick Martinez told Reuters. “He was seen leaping off the balcony.”
Martinez said the man, who was in Anaheim on business and appears to be in his 30s or 40s, also left evidence in the room that suggested it was a suicide.
“He was sharing a room with another male associate and for some reason he went out on the balcony and all indications are that it was an intentional act, a suicide,” Martinez said. “
The Disneyland Hotel has nearly 1,000 rooms in three towers overlooking the so-called “the happiest place on earth”. The amusement park, which opened in 1955, has become one of the top tourist attractions in the country.

Disney Corp. does a good job of rushing bodies out of the park and declaring them dead “off premises” so they can maintain that people don’t “die” at Disneyworld.
I imagine that some are cases like Christmas, where someone sees a lot of people all around having a good time that he thinks he’s missing out on.
I maintain forcing any child on to that ride is a form of abuse.
Oh you are a rat.
Just for that:

Half Breed
by Cher
My father married a pure Cherokee
My mother’s people were ashamed of me
The indians said I was white by law
The White Man always called me “Indian Squaw”
CHORUS:
Half-breed, that’s all I ever heard
Half-breed, how I learned to hate the word
Half-breed, she’s no good they warned
Both sides were against me since the day I was born
We never settled, went from town to town
When you’re not welcome you don’t hang around
The other children always laughed at me
“Give her a feather, she’s a Cherokee”
Repeat Chorus
We weren’t accepted and I felt ashamed
Nineteen I left them, tell me who’s to blame
My life since then has been from man to man
But it can’t run away from what I am
Repeat chorus

(I hope there are no balconies where you are...)
Witnesses. Now how's Disney going to scrub this one?
He took the Fast Pass option
He thought he was going on a magic carpet ride?
I have often contemnplated suicide after hearing and rehearing the Small World song over and over in line.
Re-enactment of Peter and Wendy flying off to Never-Never Land.
I think they should mumify them and display them at the registration desk.
They never could get the People Mover working properly.
Guilty as charged.LOL.
I was going to write “queue” to throw off my geographical history.
