You don't need to print coupons. The way my wife works this thing is by printing (black only) the list of coupons and store specials. The coupons are clipped from the Sunday newspapers or from coupons in the mail. The store specials are also sent in the mail or can be found in the paper. One of the best tricks from this is finding things that are on special and using coupons on top of that.

I'm sure there are other ways of using this, but that's the way she does it and it seems to be working very well.

That is how I do it at Kroger. I just by their specials and try to use a coupon if I have one. If I do they double coupons up to 50 cents. So if you got a 50 cent coupon you save a dollar. But you have to be careful at Kroger. A lot of the times their sales are not really sales. They just want you to think they are.

My experience is we do quite well by just using several local markets and buying the sale items. One of our markets has a 10% off everything sale every Wednesday. Since we eat almost all fresh food, coupons are not often of much help to us.
Yes prices are much higher over the past year, but I’ve noticed that eggs have dropped by 10% in the past month. The law of supply and demand still rules!
