Good morning, Yorkie.
I didn’t realize that it was the anniversary of the Mount St. Helen’s eruption.
I collect ceramic hens and rooster .... when we visited Mount St. Helen’s a few years ago, I bought a rooster made of Mount St. Helen’s ash.
Have a Happy Rooster Day.
Thanks for the Mt. St. Helens reminder.
I’ve still got three baby food jars filled with the ash that landed in our yard 350 miles away.
The sky began to darken at 3 pm, the street lights came on five hours earlier than normal.
Outside, there was weird silence - no birds chirping like normal - nothing, and then a soft hissing noise as the ash began to fall.
