I was asked to accompany the class on a field trip to Valley Children’s Hospital on Tuesday. This is a field trip that Marissa has been anticipating all year.
Reason for being asked? .... I drive a van. LOL
So next Tuesday, I will be AWOL again.
Thunder was crashing with deafening blows.
She could hear him breathing accross the room.
She knew she should stay where she was,
But she wanted the comfort and security of his arms.
Slowly, through the darkness of the room
She crept to the couch where he sat.
She slid onto the cushion next to him
And he surrounded her with his strong arms.
Then a flash, a click of a camera, and they were caught.
Caught in a forbidden embrace - a dog/cat hug!
I am glad you will be accompanying Marissa on her field trip - sharing the excitement is much more fun, than hearing about it.
Plus - wonderful memories will be formed and recalled years later for both of you!
