Lori, there’s lots of birds with their Mama’s that look bigger than Mama in the spring. Especially robins. The babies look so big and are just following Mama squawking loudly with that mouth wide open. Isn’t it wonderful we have all this entertainment straight from the Heavens, free of charge! What a glorious world.
I read on one of your posts today about the disasters in the world right now. It truly troubles me when I see those people suffering so and their government won’t let our Medical services in to save lives. Its unbearable to watch. We must all remember these unfortunate ones in “our prayers” for sure.
Gee, I just caught this picture. The bird is beautiful with the foliage, etc. You make wonderful pictures, Lori!
I feel like you do, Mama Bear, overwhelmed by the news of disasters. The China earthquake quickly followed the Burma cyclone, and in the midst of this we had devastating tornadoes in the U.S. But still, the loss of lives in the other countries is extremely tragic and distressing. We also have news of bombs in India and the Mt. Etna volcano is active again, and it makes me wonder!
Hi Dita! Wished you’d have gotten here sooner. Just finished a couple of oreo’s with milk! Delicious! Good to see ya!
Well, SJB has grown some nice tail feathers there... excellent photo! I know it’s hard to get a good photo of him. Looks like quite a belly on him too, LOL.
The momma hummingbird here abandoned the nest after 8 days. I don’t know what happened. I checked when she was gone more than 24 hrs and there were no eggs in the nest. This happens. I did see her come back to the feeder a few times though.
Thanks, Jaycee, that sounds yummy. Good to see you too:)
Outstanding poem, and I love the pic. Thanks, Amy.
What a beautiful lesson today, Rus!
OMG, LJ, I will not ruin a beautiful thread, by telling you all how that poem touched my heart and why I am using so much kleenex right now. Thank you, Amy, Kitty, and JC ~ yorkie
Feel better, yorkie. A good cry helps sometimes. Does me!
Goodnight yorkie and goodnight friends!
Cute, cute picture.
Absolutely lovely poem, Lady J.
Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
Thanks, PAL.
I wish that was my garden instead of one I found online.
I’m praying that you and your family get the issues with your Dad’s property cleared up soon.
Thanks for keeping us updated.
My day has been good.
I had to leave for awhile today to take Marissa for her dentist appt. They said she is doing a good job with her brushing.
I talked to Jim tonight and that made me feel good since he sounded better than he has in ages.
We look forward to seeing pictures of Doggie whenever you get them taken. Living in the country, our pets are also pestered by flies.
If they are biting flies, there is something you can buy to put on her ears to keep them from biting her ears.
He has really grown. He is very pretty.
Thank you for posting his pix so we can see what a big boy/girl he/she is.
;^ )
Yes, Dita the news of these disasters are difficult to watch. Praying for all the victims.
Isn’t that graphic precious! Those little guys are so cute.
Thanks for coming by, Dita. We’ve missed you.
It is a beautiful poem and it is so touching.
It’s okay to cry with friends.
Thank you So Much, Amy! They are Driving her Crazy, and I will Look in the Store for that Stuff, and if I don't Find it I'll Check with Doggie's Vet and See if they have it. Thank you Again!
