Good Morning Amy :)
Oh boy, I do know what you mean. I had to go over the rules with Booboo and the computer again. I had to tell her no youtube without me too. It's something she knows I will be beyond strict about. If I catch her on something without asking she loses the privilege, no question about it. The computer is great. They are becoming so good with it but it's also a bit nerve-wracking.

That is a pity it is OK here in Spain, it is just a Windows Media Player.

Good morning, Rus.
Thank you for Our Daily Bread.
Today is a busy one for me; I have a dentist appt this morning. Since I will be in FResno, I need to do some errands so I can save another trip. Round trip is about 50 miles so I do as much as possible whenever I get there.
See you later today.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday.

Good morning, Nan.
I will be AWOL most of the day.
I have a dentist appt this morning.
Since I broke a lower front tooth last month, I am getting a three tooth bridge. Today he will be preparing the two teeth and then taking impressions.
Hope you have a great day.

Good morning, GeeBee.
When Marissa came home from school and showed me a YouTube of Alvin and the Chipmunks, I told her she could not watch YouTube unless it was something that I showed her.
Older kids were watching YouTube; it was not good. Smoking, drinking and awful language. I told the school about it. Now I have no idea what she knows about My Space.
Do you have locking software on your computer? I need to do some research to find out what is available.
I hope the school starts supervising the after-school kids.

Roast Leg of Lamb with Dark Beer, Honey and Thyme
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
7 to 8 pound leg of lamb, thighbone removed, and shin bone in (have your butcher do this)
4 cloves garlic, chopped
3 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 cups stout beer or porter (recommended: Guinness)
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon juniper berries, crushed
2 bay leaves
Open the leg of lamb and season the inside with half the garlic, half the thyme leaves, 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper. Tie the lamb closed with string. Place it in a roasting pan, season with salt and pepper, and brush it with olive oil.
In a bowl mix the beer, honey, remaining garlic and thyme, juniper berries, and bay leaves. Pour this over the lamb and put the roasting pan into oven. Immediately turn the oven down to 325 degrees F. Baste every 10 minutes. Cook 12 to 13 minutes per pound for medium rare or until internal temperature reaches 130 to 135 degrees F.
Remove the roast from the oven, cover it loosely with foil and allow it to rest for about 10 minutes before carving.
Serve with pan drippings.
Happy National Roasted Leg of Lamb Day!

Today is anniversary of the sale of Kodak Cameras.
In 1888, George Eastman invented dry, transparent, and flexible, photographic film (or rolled photography film) and the Kodak cameras that could use the new film.
George Eastman wanted to simplify photography and make it available to everyone, not just trained photographers. In 1883, Eastman announced the invention of photographic film in rolls. Kodak the company was born in 1888 when the first Kodak camera entered the market. Pre-loaded with enough film for 100 exposures, the Kodak camera could easily be carried and handheld during its operation. After the film was exposed (all the shots taken), the whole camera was returned to the Kodak company in Rochester, New York, where the film was developed, prints were made, new photographic film was inserted, and then the camera and prints were returned to the customer.
Happy Kodak Camera Day!!
Today is also Robert Browning's Birthday.
Happy Birthday Robert Browning!

Oh, Amy, I Feel for you as Marissa is Asking for a My Space and Using the Internet a Lot; the Internet is a Good Place, but also can be an Evil Place; sometimes when I'm Surfing and Looking for a Cute Kitty Pic or a Rose Pic, I'll Inadvertantly Run into Wicked Pics, and it is Frustrating. :( I've Heard of Internet Filters you can Buy to Screen Out the Filth, but haven't Tried Any of them.
Sending Thank you's to Everyone for the Pings and Wishing Everyone a Good Day.
~A Beautiful Wednesday to Amy's Place~
