I hate to see all these folks telling you that it wasn't really love, you weren't seeing her real personality, etc etc... that's not for strangers to say. You saw and loved much in her. But there are some things love won't fix, that's all.

That is excellent advice. I would like to add that you should most definitely get ID Theft insurance. Check out Zander (link below). It is very cheap and you can sign up on line immediately.
