This is for reference only, and is not intended to create any undue alarm.
The sole purpose of this is to heighten the public's awareness of a criminal activity that has been threatened on Tarrant County College property or that is relevant to our college environment.
The TCC Police Department would like to inform our campus community that a barely discernable, small in print, message was found scratched on the stall of a men's room on the second floor of the library at the Northeast Campus. It stated, "There will be a shooting here on April 19th." The Police Department takes all threats and indications that harm may be done seriously. To this end, additional safety and security measures have been activated and will continue as long as deemed appropriate to preserve the safety and security of our campus community.
The police department will prosecute, at the highest level, any person who falsely initiates, communicates or circulates information, or takes an action that places any person in fear of injury.
