and the guy QUIT doing the prayer to acquiesce to their ridic establishment clause objections and now just bows his head and takes a knee. heck they do THAT when they are diagramming plays for heaven’s sake, how is that promoting religion?? i think we looked and the superintendent sounds to be a dago woman, probably catholic herself!

I thought it was pretty well established that a moment of silence was “neutral” in regards to “establishing religion.”

So by virtue of being on a knee in a locker room (which is a standard way to huddle even for secular purposes) it becomes an establishment?

But only if the person calling the huddle has a history of leading prayers?

Isn’t the law supposed to be not about particular people?

Not to change the subject, but y'all know what a fan of women's athletics I am. Last night I was channel surfing and stumbled across Team USA playing the University of Arizona in women's softball. Man were there some hot looking women on both teams. And good players, too. Like this one:

Jennie Finch, all 6'1" of her. A fireballing RHP.

Team USA ended up winning about a gazillion to 0. Looks like a sure Gold Medal in Beijing.
