LOL!

I suspect wherever small animals, birds or fish were available, and the Natives wanted to plant, they instinctively knew that fertilizer of some kind was necessary. Maybe it was leftover from the Tribal hearths. They were successful to a certain extent, no matter where they lived, once they decided to stay for the summer.

I hope all is well with those in your care!

Lovin' ev'ry minute of it.

Had a really good belly-laugh, today.

California's new cell phone laws come on-line July 1st, and I Found out that, while our oh-so-very-concerned pea-brained legislators have successfully made it illegal to TALK on a cell phone while driving unless you do it hands-free, it remains perfectly legal to TEXT MESSAGE all you want.

The delicious irony makes the perfect frame for our many Emperors-in-the-buff.

Just when your opinion of the thieves and liars in Sacramento couldn’t get any lower....

I would say I guess I should be glad I picked FL over CA, but we have plenty of our own idiots here.

When I lived in Florida, oh so many years ago, it didn’t seem to be such a bad place. Of course, I rarely ventured outside the gates of NTC Orlando.

Orlando is about 45 minutes from here, a little less on the freeway. It is not a bad place but we do have a problem with crime and corruption.

Yeah, I keep hoping they'll bottom out somewhere. Still, if they continue downward forever it's no problem for me; I rate on the Cartesian Y Axis; it passes through zero and is infinite in both directions, positive and negative. Sacramento's only down to the 37th order of magnitude below zero, so there's lots a string left.

Basing your behavior and presentation direction on a production by Ben Stein is not something I would recommend.

You miss the point so skilfully, there's nothing more to say. Good day.

Our Homeowners’ Association doesn’t allow corn, although if food gets expensive enough, maybe the residents will petition for a rule change.

I’ve been out watering everything. We didn’t get any rain from all the clouds that went through last night. Maybe later in the week!

Well you see, Norm, it’s like this . . . A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.

And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.’

Norm?

I guess you can call me Norm, if you want to.

As long as it’s short for Normal.

Off to work........

My home owners association is fairly tame. If they can’t see it from the street or the green belts they pretty much leave me a lone. They want to see what color you paint your house before you paint but I don’t know anyone that has been turned down.

We have vinyl siding. Our rule on gardening is about the same, but we’re not supposed to plant truck crops that can be seen over the fence. Tomatoes are okay, and so are flowering vines, but a corn crop would be considered in poor taste.

Can you get mini corn plants to grow those tiny ears of corn?

"Only if you have tiny money."

Will Zimbabwean nanodimes do the trick? I got thirty-two of them in change the last time I cashed in a tinker's dam.
