i've never heard of Left Back... i'll have to look into that one... friends of ours (fellow homeschooling family) heads a chapter of GENERATION JOSHUA (or Gen-J) here in our town... these kids are learning at a very young age how to participate in the political process... next weekend they are walking door-to-door to campaign for Dean Andahl, who is running against McNerny for congress... (McNerny beat out Richard Pombo two years ago)...
Homeschooling kids in California have been getting quite the political workout. The situation has generated much goodwill and cooperation between groups that have not historically had much to do with each other. There have been many, many “field trips” to Sacramento.
