How’s it feel to back in the civilized world?
Absolutely fantastic.
Why, I haven't heard a single exlosion in several days. Haven't heard the call to prayer blasting over loudspeakers and haven't had any dust blow in my face since I left Kuwait nearly a week ago.
It's raining right now, but I know that won't cause very slimy, sticky mud to adhere to my shoes when I venture outside.
And I can be sitting here and think, "I want _________" and I can just get in my car and go get it. Anything!
Life is GOOD. :-D
