April Rain
"The April rain, the April rain,
Comes slanting down in fitful showers,
Then from the furrow shoots the grain,
And banks are fledged with nestling flowers;
And in grey shawl and woodland bowers
The cuckoo through the April rain
Calls once again."

You found the perfect poem to go with that graphic....but that's no surprise. You are really good at that.
That Chaucer poem is stuck in my head forever. My senior high school English teacher made us memorize it...in the original OLD ENGLISH, not the translated modern version. She could read the entire Canterbury Tales in 14th Century "old English". It was beautiful to hear - one of my favorite memories from my senior year was her English class.
