Here is one of the parents, probably the male, but it could be the female. If that is the case, the male was tending the eggs (do they do that?) while I was photographing this one.....

I tried to photograph the bird on the nest just now, but the foliage is dense and I couldn't get a good shot of her.

That is just gorgeous.....king of the world! That may be the male..the one on the fence you posted looked a bit different. You said one of them was more aggressive....do you think the female would be more aggressive than the male? There’s so many things I wish I knew.....
