Well, I sure hope your bluebirds are okay. I try to remember that in God's plan it is ‘survival of the fittest’ in the animal kingdom, but I hate to actually "see" it playing out in nature. It is hard not to interfere and protect the weak ones from the predators, isn't it? I know there is a “food chain” in nature, but I don’t want to witness it. :-(

I thought I would jump in here to tell you I saw one of the bluebirds trying to go in its house and the mate flew out and he/she went in, so that was good to know! Maybe they have finished building, I am just not sure yet. I will know in the very near future! When those babies come out, I will be out most everyday and can watch for the cat.....cats like to prowl at night though! LOL~~~
