Put some potting soil around the roots and keep a lot of leaves and pine straw around it. Water it a lot because they like humidity—I think. They are sturdy plants...we had some still growing on uprooted pine tree roots after Rita...when you had to wait in line to have stumps ground. Another 2 months and we would have had azeleas blooming in the air!
