Great mama jay shot, Mama Bear! I would love to watch a nest..The only time I can get up close to wildlife is when I go out to feed the raccoons..They have me trained well.
The Ruby Throated Humminbird male was here again this morning..I need to move the feeder closer to the sliding door so I can see him better..
I swear I saw him hover close to a tube feeding Cardinal once..drawn by the color I suppose.
Wish I had bunches of hummingbirds but I’ll settle for my one rather than none like last year..

I do too. Except, now that I know where the nest is, I am going to be worrying and fussing over them until I can see that the babies can take care of themselves. I have been out there at least ten times today to check and see if mama is tending the nest. I don't know what I could do if she wasn't, but I just feel better seeing her sitting on her eggs.
