From TMZ: TMZ moles say the finale will include a virtual hologram of Gladys Knight singing "Midnight Train to Georgia" with Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Downey Jr. singing backup as the Pips. Holy Nat King Cole! "Idol" did this last season when Celine Dion sang along side a virtual undead Elvis. For the record, Gladys Knight is still alive.
Weren't these guys on last year's show? Am I the only one who doesn't find them funny?

This is one of those times I wish we had webcams, so you could see the look of complete horror on my face.

That doesn’t make any sense at all. Why bring in Jack Black or Ben Stiller?

I thought Jack Black was pretty funny in School of Rock.
The movie they have coming out could be pretty funny. It’s something like three actors go into the jungle to shoot the film and they’re supposed to be at war, but they end up really being in a war zone or alone in the jungle or something like that..... (did that make sense?)
