Notes:
Kristy Lee Cook (God Bless the USA) – Yes! She finally does a vocal I like, and to a song I love. Her best performance BY FAR in this competition. Still room for improvement, but I can’t complain. Might save her for another week. It’d be a shame if she gets voted off on this song, but then it would give us another opportunity to hear it tomorrow.
David Cook (Billie Jean) – Wow. Not digging the start, kick-in perks up the performance. Weird. Original (OK, so he tends to borrow less-known covers). Still not my cup of tea, but brings a different element to this competition and seems to be assured of a record deal.
I’d pick Ramiele to be cut with Kristy Lee surviving yet another bottom 3 scare.
