Hello,

Made it, watching this has been difficult. (Not sure how the rest of the FReeper Idol fans see this).

All it has made me think of is the last concert I went to with my best friend, we saw Neil Diamond, and we had such a good time. And then she left us, forever. It has actually ticked me off that most of these singers have no passion, no inspiration in singing these songs.

I think you've hit one of the two main reasons why the ratings are down significantly this year. There's no true star in this year's bunch, and no real competition between two or more compelling contestants. (The other reason, in my opinion, is the insulting beg-a-thon.)
