Brooke: Dolly Parton. She's a tiny gal, but she's huge! (cough)
Brooke performs Jolene--perfect choice. She's not as glamorous as she was last week, playing acoustic guitar while sitting on a stool, surrounded by two guys playing instruments and one female backup singer.
Beautiful!
Randy: This type of music definitely suits your voice. Don't know if it was one of your best performances. Rushed.
Paula: You are who you are. Emotional connection with each song you pick. You are Brooke White, excellent and wonderful.
Simon: I totally disagree with Paula. What was lacking in that song was emotion. I thought all of you looked very old as a group. Wasn't one of your best performances.
I don't know what they heard. She sounded great to me.
Ya know Jonny, why have a country week when it’s painfully obvious that RP&S don’t have a clue about country music.
Brooke did just fine. No problem with the arrangement. Very Bluegrass-oldtimey. Could have been a little angrier - but that’s just not Brooke to be angry.
Dolly: It was all I could do not to cry and I want to keep these false eyelashes in place!
Sings "Smoky Mountain Memories". Hate to say it, but that sounded pretty good.
Randy: I stand corrected--THAT was the best performance of the night.
Paula: Beautiful aura about you. Just glorious.
Simon: I had issues with your song choice last week. This week, absolutely on-the-money.
Dolly: I think your momma is gonna be very proud of you.
Sings "Coat of Many Colors". Meh. It's hard to hear this song from anyone other than Dolly, since it's a song she wrote about her own childhood.
Randy: Country music is definitely your wheelhouse.
Paula: You look stunning. I think this is your best performance.
Simon: Totally disagree. I thought last week was your best performance. It was pleasant, but forgettable.
