No, it’s just really, really slow.
They shouldn't have very many calories.
LOL! It’s how Celine stays so skinny.
How about something from Linkin Park. Just something raw, and not schmaltzy.
Is there a hamster strike?
Sunlight nuts. Does that have something to do with Algore?
Idol Spoiler: David Cook Announces What He’ll Sing Next Week
KANSAS CITY, MO. — Blue Springs, Missouri native and American Idol hopeful, David Cook, appeared on the FOX 4 Morning Show in Kansas City on Friday.
During his appearance he announced which songs he’ll be singing next week.
His choice: “The World I Know” by Collective Soul.
Also, during the interview he received a text message from Simon Cowell announcing the judges’ choice.
Good Choices? Blog about it.Cowell told Cook he’d be singing “First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” by Roberta Flack.
Cook competes with Syesha Mercado, and David Archuleta to become the next American Idol next Tuesday.
Tons of more info on David: http://www.myfoxkc.com/myfox/
ROTFL!!! I still can’t believe I typed that. It’s like a stream of consciousness rant.
LOL!!! I wish I knew. I could use some to counteract my dinner tonight- German food! I think I ate myself drunk.
“They were beyond pissed when David sang the song with Kingston’s lyrics during the live show.”
David should have been kicked off after changing the lyrics.
Hai. Im a por kollege studnt...
Plz buy sum magazeens.
If it is to be out of their confront zone then David A. should have to do Metallica: Master of Puppets or Ozzy Osbourne: Crazy Train!!!! I mean come on Reberta Flack for David Cook?
I agree. Hmmmmm....keep my dad happy/off my back or follow the directives of this show that could make me a millionaire. Just shows how immature he is.
“Simon tells him during Broadway week that he prefers the rocker David and yet he picks this song for him. Is everyone being given a song so totally out of their safety zone?”
If he sings it exactly like Roberta Flack (well, in a different register, but you know what I mean) then it will be deadly, but actually I think Simon is giving David not only a challenge but a golden opportunity. David C. *could* be absolutely brilliant with this song, if he changes it around and gets creative with it. I can see it being terrific. I hope he can too!
I know what you mean about the opportunity and I’m all for it, as long as the others are given comparable opportunities. ;)
Actually, you raise an interesting question. How can you compare the various songs they are assigned? Especially since each performer gets a song from a different judge? In the past, it’s been my observation that Simon has been the most adept at handing out good songs for the Idols. It will be interesting to see how they all do next week. (And also interesting to see how Baby Archuleta does without Daddy hovering right in the background! I hope he feels relief and not panic. Poor kid.)
We haven’t heard what songs Clive has picked and we haven’t heard what songs Archuleta gets. I suspect he won’t be given the same opportunity that Cook has been given. Syesha and Cook are both 10 times more versatile than Archuleta.
