Another spoiler...next week’s theme is songs that shaped and inspired rock n’ roll.

Would that be Elvis type music or before him? Chuck Berry? Jerry Lee Lewis? Bill Haley? Just trying to think which songs led to rock n' roll.

Inspired and shaped are two different things. Half of that list IS rock. They might as well of just had a rock week.

Squeeee!!!!! (Harrison Ford = *swoon*)

LOL! What? The man is 70 years old, what are you talking about? I mean 15 years ago he was really cool, but the man is 127 years old now, theres no "squee" left. Besides that's a ripp of "Schwing" and reserved for woman the likes of Michele Pfiphfer! ;-)

They are ALL copying someone. Look at Cook with his scarf and Syesha barefoot. Both have been done already this season. These kids are just trying different things to make their own statement (which just happens to have been done before.) Actually Jason is probably the most original of the group and doesn’t change his style for anything or anybody.

Brooke definitely knows where she belongs, but it took her a couple of whopping mistakes to realize that she wasn’t only uncomfortable out of her zone—she just couldn’t function there at all...BUT now she knows, that’s the beauty of this whole show—watching the kids discover who they are.

Listening to Paula’s incoherent ramblings it wouldn’t shock me at all if someone wrote things for her to say.

It wouldn't shock me either, but I think it's very simple. Paula is just a numbnutz. I mean she thinks it's "Hard" to judge 5 peoples performances? C'mon Clint, the show may have some scripted parts, but it's not rigged, I garauntee you it's authentic. Paula is just bombastically distracted.

"Paula.... omg I’m speechless."

I think what happens with Paula is that she gets into the limo and has few from the limo bar to the show. Then at the pre-show party she has a few more. Then she sets up her giant glass of Coke/whatever-liquor-of-choice and she ends up smashed half way through the show.

As far as it being rigged that is crap-ola. No one can predict how many votes or no votes there will be. So someone that usually votes 20-30 times takes a break and only votes 10 times or some that think their guy or gal is safe and doesn't vote or switches votes for someone else who they want to keep on.

Whether Paula stuff is scripted or not makes no difference because it is either her thoughts and she wrote them down and she got confused or if someone else wrote them down for her who cares. More than likely some her own talking points are written down for her so she want ramble on forever before Simon has to step in and cut her off as usual. Paula get scattered sometimes and the show's produces knows that and they want it move at a good pace plus there is a time clock that has to be adhered to. It has little or no impact on how American, that participates in the show, votes for their American Idol.

Why would the judges "rig" the show when they determine who the top 24 are from the beginning. The pool they provide are culled from many thousands down to a few "lucky" ones that the judges want to get through for whatever reason. The judges then root for their favorites until the end but the callers determine the ultimate popularity of the winner. As Simon often says, it's a popularity contest and not a singing contest.

Taylor Hicks being the prime example. Simon dissed him at every opportunity yet he won.

Just wanted to say thank you for all of your comments today.

And for showing unwavering politeness (when things could have easily turned ugly), you each have earned a special Randy Jackson standing-O!

Blazing molten hot, dawgs! :) Well done.

It should've been between him and Michael Johns, Michael was far better than little David.

I totally agree with you there. I was looking forward to a big finale Rock-Off between MJ and DC. What I liked about Michael Johns was he has a clear voice and would hold a note and harmonize with the lead instruments in the band instead of going off into a scream like Carly did with JC-Superstar or Kristy in that horrid rendition of "8 Days a Week". (Every-time I think of that performance my thumb automatically goes to the mute button even if there is a remote in my hand or not LOL) For me MJ has a super pleasing rock/blues voice. I hope he picks good songs for his CD.

Oh my, oh my. I'm guessing you're a guy (or if you're a gal, you're very, very young). Men can be attractive at any age and most improve with age. Others not only improve, they hold their value after their 'peak'. Harrison Ford is one of those.

As for the squee... well, that's open to interpretation.

You can all be thankful that you missed Mrs. Clinton on the Factor...wearing a Pepto-Bismol pantsuit, it was a totally sickening, love fest. He let her skate.
