I have a friend with record industry ties and she said they’d never let him win Idol b/c of his age...starting a career that late at that age nowadays just doesn’t ‘sell’ as well, especially for Idol.

I did think he had potential to be the dark horse into the top 5...it was the DC thing and going first that killed MJ this week I think. Besides, they saw him as their expendable “other favorite” (out of DC/DA/C/B with MJ next up) and a wake-up call but one who’s elimination saved Carly.

McCain wins in my book.

Mine too. He was better than I expected. The audience actually laughed at his jokes.

Obama's schtick, I think, is wearing thin. There were a few cheers from the audience when he appeared, but nothing remotely close to the noise generated by the Monchichi or David Cook fans.

And fly-over country, which makes up the largest chunk of Idol's audience, probably didn't appreciate seeing him (or Hillary) either.

Am I drunk?? I think I might be, because that’s the only way these things would make sense.

There were so many things WRONG with that ad!

1) No Christian should endorse or even entertain the idea of "climate change". It's like embracing another religion (which the whole Global Warming thing is).

2) No one who wants to maintain their credibility should ever--under any circumstances--be seen with Al Sharpton.

This is insane!
