In terms of President Bush, Nigel is simply jealous of someone who has a pair.

You are so right. Sad thing is even if conservatives stopped watching because of his remarks, he would come out and say the numbers were down for any number of ‘other’ reasons, just like they refuse to aknowledge that their numbers started to tank with the first begathon.

Here’s a link that comments on that article, but at least there is a comments section. Unfortunately only morons have commented.

I’m glad they didn’t allow their little concert. Other idols have been restrained, so should they.

American Idol Finalist Bucky Covington To Appear In Hannah Montana Movie

http://www.realitytvmagazine.com/blog/2008/06/05/american-idol-finalist-bucky-covington-to-appear-in-hannah-montana-movie/

Bucky Covington, who finished in eighth place on the fifth season of American Idol, is going to appear in the new Hannah Montana movie. After his American Idol run, Bucky Covington moved to Nashville, Tennessee and signed with Lyric Street Records.

Bucky Covington’s self-titled debut album was produced by Mark Miller of Sawyer Brown, and the album was an instant hit with both media critics and fans. In fact, the album had the best opening week debut for an album by a male country artist since Billy Ray Cyrus’ Some Gave All album.

Interestingly enough, it was Billy Ray Cyrus himself, who extended a personal invitation for Bucky Covington to appear in the Hannah Montana movie that is currently filming in the Nashville, Tennessee area.

“I’ve never been on a movie set so I don’t know what to expect,” said Bucky Covington. “I’ve always been a fan of Billy Ray’s music and it really is an honor for him to ask me to be a part of what is sure to be the biggest movie released next year.”

Bucky Covington will be appearing as a musician in the movie along with fellow Lyric Street Recording artist Marcel. The song “Backwards,” which was written by Marcel and Tony Mullins will also be featured in the movie. Hannah Montana: The Movie, starring Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus, is scheduled to be released in theaters in 2009.

I don’t know if you are watching that show ‘Can You Duet?’ or not, or if you even like country, but I just have to post this for those that do like country.

This show is quite good and the talent is pretty good as well.

Last week the duos were asked to perform one of their original songs.

There is only one married couple that has survived and their song is just plain awesome and a hit just waiting to be recorded. imo

This whole BDS, to me, is just trendy and like all trends, some people have to take it to an extreme to prove they are the most dedicated to the trend. You know what I mean?

Yep. Like a few years ago, when the trend among liberals was to wear ribbons at awards shows. LOL--It started out as one red ribbon for AIDs, then a pink one for breast cancer, then another and another until they were all wearing a giant fruit salad of ribbons--and if you didn't wear them all you didn't care!

"Who won't wear the ribbon?"

Nice news about Bucky. I always liked him during the run of that AI season. Looked at as a group, that was probably the most talented bunch overall of any AI season so far.

I have been watching ‘Can You Duet’ and I love the married couple. Not so much any of the others, though.

I’m glad you liked the poem.

It’s nice to be able to come here and disagree without being called “idiot” or “stupidhead”, or “moron” or “ignoramus” or “troll” or “liberal” or “commie” or “pinhead”....or......

Oops, I got carried away. Strangely, I feel much better now. ;)

Getting carried away can be therapeutic :)

It is great how we get along here. Even the few trolls that we have remain mostly civilized--in their own obnoxious troll way :)

Every family has their dysfunctional members. :)

P.S. I was drawing with my grandson yesterday, (he’s a lefty too) and I had to pull up your pictures to show him your great art work.

I always meant to ask, do you do that for a living? They are so incredible.

I sketch, from pictures, and they are pretty good but it takes me awhile. How long does it usually take you for a portrait?

You are so right! It would be nice if the entire forum got along as well as the AI thread. Some of the fights people pick in the main forum are just mind-boggling and they don't let it drop!

What I don’t get is when you attack a politician you don’t like, and a poster attacks you. ????

Maybe you could slime my candidate or tell me all of the great points about yours, but why attack someone personally? Bah!

And it’s funny. Like you said, you can check back months later and they’re still on the same argument. Bwaha.

Exactly. Is that going to change your mind of even make you consider their point of view? Of course not. I doubt anyone's mind has ever been changed because someone on FR called them a "commie lib closet DUer." The thing is, most of them would never say those things to anyone's face, but behind a keyboard they are fearless.

I once got attacked because I made fun of Shepard Smith. It was a whole thread of people making fun of him, but for some reason this person singled me out. Maybe it was his mom or the president of the Shepard Smith Society or something.
