I did not know about goat milk for my daughter, but in her day it was Carnation Evaporated Milk, water and Karo Syrup for a formula.......then they invented the soy formulas and look at the change in children.
My daughter moved back home when the baby was about a month old, I objected to the soy crap and on that formula, she had an upset stomach all the time.
I talked to the local doctor, Dr. Kline said “you have goats, put her on goat milk”...No way Debra hated goats.
Dr. Kline said, “One of these days she will run out the door and yell, “you fix her formula, I gotta go”, when that happens call me and I will tell you what to do .....
Yep, that day came, as I recall he said to heat the milk, add Karo and cool it.
I did and for the next year that I had her, she had only one fretting day, [the day a ‘city doctor’ gave her baby shots] and
there was never another upset stomach, she was so happy and people could not pass her by, without a smile.
Then Deb took her and moved to Hawaii and put her on cow milk and I do not think Lisa was ever pleasant again.
