Took in this stray almost 3 wks ago from after I saw him galloping back and forth across a four lane highway. He has a chip but his owners have disappeared per the shelter that had the chip ID on file. Looks like I've added another dog to my pack. He's friendly, healthy, house trained, and not destructive. But eats like pig!
BTW, I think he's Golden/Lab mix too.

Whatever they are...they’re beautiful. They look to have decided that your place will make a fine home. : )

My neighbor got a puppy that was supposed to be a yellow lab, but is so huge, that its got to have some big dog breed mixed with it. It’s hair is too long for a lab, as well. My other neighbor has a Rottweiller mix that looks more like a Bernese Mountain Dog, without the white. It’s huge too.

Well take good care of them. They're so sweet!
My latest foundling celebrates her one-year birthday in two months, and we were thinking about getting her a puppy (the two older dogs would love to watch that -- she's been pesting them crazy for the past six months). So if those little bundles of joy get to be too much, give me a hollar and I'll meet you half way. I'm in IL, so how about west central TN?

Do yourself a favor and get at least the rear leg dew claws removed on them. They are useless and tend to get ripped off accidently which could cause an infection. Plus the dew claws are hard to clip. If you can afford it have the front dew claws removed also.

Those two won't eat much. BAHAHAHAHAHA!!I noticed how big their paws are. Poor hubby will have to find a second job. Maybe he'll get a sign, 'will work for dog food.' lol

But their names will get shortened to nicknames ... Rocky and Pot, or Rocky and Toes.

Labs are the best!
Wonderful pets....

From the looks of those paws, youll get to know what the 50# sized bags of dog food are for..That's what my daughter went after. lol
And how much is left once processed through the dog : )
We have plenty of shovels. ;)
I'm sure they will be.

I’ve read that dogs respond best to two syllable names. And both Rocket and Rocky are two so I see no reason to go from Rocket to Rocky. As for Potato, I could see that being shortened to Tato (or Tater) for short.

They look awfully well-fed for strays.
