The one on the left looks like a cross between a Golden Retriever (coat) and Labrador retriever (head shape and facial features).
They are adorable.

I dont want to think how big theyll grow. LOL! Check out those paws. That'll give you a clue. I am convinced that the canine species survives prinicipally because puppies are so adorable. Those two won't eat much. BAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Look at the paws. I'll say your estimate is low.
And look closely at the markings on the faces (around the eyes). There's a breed that has the same, but I can't think of it at the moment.

How to tell if your wife loves you more than your pup:
1) Put bothe wife and pup in the trunk of your car
2) Drive around town for about an hour
3) Open the trunk and see which one is happy to see you

From the looks of those paws, you’ll get to know what the 50# sized bags of dog food are for..
And how much is left once processed through the dog : )
But they’ll be worth it!

they may have some Sheltie or Australian Sheppard in them (due to the masking on their fur and pigment on their skin) or if the fur is kinda rough feeling then they have Husky in them which will also cause the fur masking you see but they are mostly Lab due to their bone structure.

Hard to tell yet- but lots of retriever in those faces.
Whatever they are- they’re dear looking!

People never cease to amaze me. Dumping out 2 nice puppies to fend for themselves. They sure got lucky when they landed on your doorstep.

My grandkids have fallen in love with them. They already fed them all the dog food we keep on hand for stray dogs that people just push out of their cars out here in the country. They then started giving them wieners, they went through two packs before I caught them.
They are beautiful.

What ever they are, they're keepers that's for sure.
The black spots under their fur is what made me think of dalmatian puppies.

They have a home now and will be taken care of.
They are just so beautiful and friendly. I can't believe someone would just dump them.

Black spots? Those are Hell hounds. When the black comes in fully, their eyes will begin to glow red.
They are probably there to protect one of your kids.
I’m sorry, just kidding. In one of those moods today.

Mixed with most likely some retriever in them, but most certainly not pure bred Golden. That seems to be the growing consensus on here.

Awww. Those are some cute pups!
I’ll go with the prevailing opinion—Lab/Golden mix. The bodies and heads look Labbish, but the fur’s fluffier like a Golden. And judging by the size of those paws, you’ve got a couple of BIG new friends!
I love their poses. They’ve really taken to the place. It’s like they’re just saying “Hi, we’re here, now where’s the food?”

Rocket/Potato?
My daughter suggested Nip/Tuck. I told her, no thank you. Choosing a name for them is serious business. We'll all put our heads together...oh my, I don't even know if they're male or female. Guess I better find out before we name them. lol
