Opened our front door this morning and these two beautiful puppies were there to greet us.

How old are dogs when they can get neutered?

I'm sure the vet will cover that with us. Thanks for the info.

Hazel and Fiver?....

I would always have thought about the maid, Hazel and I've never heard of Fiver.

Hazel and Fiver are the main characters in the novel Watership Down.

You are so lucky... the only thing that ever confront me on my doorstep are horrid racoons! (Urban varmints, they are everywhere.)

Red living room suit with a lone grey loveseat, huh? Hoo boy!

They’ll still scrub their rumps on the sides of your upholstery. Sorry, it just feels so good!

*grin*

Good on the hardwood floors, though.

they are old enough now but you should do it before they are 6 to 8 month old. (Some places do it right after they are weened)

I found the perfect remedy for dog hair—a Roomba Dirt Dog. I wouldn’t be without it.

The decision on when to spay rests with the particular vet. Mine usually won’t do it before 6-9 months, though vets working with a private rescue org can have a “do it ASAP before they change their minds” mentality.

Thank you. We’ll get them fixed asap.

All Freepers have an emotional investment in these puppies. We have two rescued dogs at our house. They’ve climbed into bed with my husband right now along with a Springer. I’ll have to shove them over when I get to bed.

We have our share of raccoons too. We had a paralyzed possum that used to drag itself through our yard every night. We haven’t seen it for a couple of months now. I think it died.

We installed a doggie door in a sliding patio door in the bedroom. It works great—a great investment but my daughter said that she has a friend that has a puppy and they taught the puppy to ring a bell that is attached to their door with a suction cup. The pup is quite young and yet lets them know when the pup needs to go out.

I have plenty of fabric cleaner because I have plenty of GK's that love to eat in the living room when they come to visit. Still gross though, huh. *About the dog butt scrubbing on our sofas not the GK's* lol

I do that with our GC, it'll be different doing it with Lilly and Grace. You know, I'm actually looking forward to it. Too bad they weren't here during the kinda cold months, hubby and I were always waking each other up to spoon for warmth. :)

The pics didn’t come thru for me! I’m still wondering what they look like...the pups...not the GK. LOL!

We have so many critters out here I'd be afraid of what might find it's way into our home.

I wish I could do that though.

You have a valid point. My daughter had a doggie door on their lower level and one day she was in their upstairs bedroom and her little granddaughter said, "kitty, kitty" and Sandy looked and there was a racoon in their upstairs.
