Well, before I put up an outdoor antenna for more reliability, I was getting a perfect picture FREE over the air from the new-fangled digital transmissions 25 miles away with a set-top antenna. And, with sub-channels, three times the programming.

Pardon my ignorance, but what are these sub-channels? Are these channels in addition to the main network channel? Is the programming different on these sub-channels? Thanks.
