Walking the beach or just sitting out there, reading a book and listening to the waves roll in and out is good for the soul. I prefer it to screaming kids and pushy parents, the usual scenario of amusement parks. To each their own. :-)

I am SO looking forward to hubby’s retirement when we can become snow birds and head south to a beach....the beach is so SOOTHING, I cannot believe SD disses it.
