A4-ism. I know it well. When you try to print something in a foreign land and all they have is the European paper that is almost, but not quite, 8.5 by 11 inches.

I tend to characterize favorite words or phrases and save them for a special cake I’m trying to bake when I see a hungry but unsuspecting soul, adding an axiom here, a canard there just for the fun of it and finishing the whole thing off with an icing of inedible, dry aphorisms.
