Hey—the horse pic. Are those bluebonnets? Beautiful, whatever they are.

I'm not sure I would know lupine from bluebonnets. Those could be either, I guess. But this reminds me of a Texas scene. I think both lupine and bluebonnets grow there.

There is just something about blue flowers that, as beautiful and striking as they are, have always seemed to me to be a bit out of place in nature. I guess it's because you see them so seldom.

Wouldn’t know either if I fell over them! Never seen a real one—they don’t grow around here. Still, the pic was beautiful!

I love the blues, but you’re right. They do stick out!
