I can’t imagine being so far from home, fighting an “unpopular war”, and not being able to get things from home that make you feel like a real person.

I knitted a dozen “watch caps” in camo, and have them ready to send out. I knit headbands (ski-type) too, but I think the troops need more warmth. I knit them in medium and large, so they fit most everyone, including the females.

If you want, I can knit up a bunch for your GS Troop...they would be welcome, I’m sure.

AND! I also knit and crochet “watch caps” for low-birth-weight babies, and take them to the local hospital...about a mile from here. Some are even in camo!!

My Girl Scouts made baby blankets at meeting this spring. At our next meeting, they’ll sign some cards I made, and then one of the moms will take them to the Crisis Pregnancy Center.

Anoreth is going to send a bunch of “Field and Stream,” “Outdoor Life,” and car magazines to the troops. Russ also said they were terribly bored in Saudi and needed magazines!
