So, with gasolene prices bobbing up and down. And the economy also bobbing! When and what will it take to get rel action n Aternative energy?Nikola tesla(1856-1943) had the answer more then a 100 years ago! That of broadcasting wirelessly eletric power! He even set up a braodcasting tower for this at Wardecylle,Long Island(Now Shoreham, L.I.) But when he mentioned FREE ELECTRIOC POWER to hs financial backer the great Robber Baron J.P. Morga. Whos meatered eletric power intreste would have been ruined. The money was removed and Tesla went into a life long debt!To honor Dr. Tesla in 2005 and 2006 I organized the GLOBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY held every July 10th the birthdate anniversary of Dr tesla. To rembewr Tesla and promote ALTERNATIVE ENERGY AND FUELS,VeHICLES. See the Tesla memorial Society www.teslasociety.com And Pure Energy Systems A Community Built Alternative energy site www.Peswiki.comNikola Tesla/GloBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY. No!!!!! What is neeeded is REAL ACTIO NOW!!!! Perhaps at least a Day to rember Nikola tesla And PROMTING ALTERNATIVE ENERGY is one way to do this?
LOL!
I DO know where babies come from! The Cabbage Patch! :oþ
The cashier at Wal-mart said her mother’s shed roof (in Mississippi) blew off last night. The same storm we’re on the fringes of now, and I guess it’s headed up your brother’s way.
No lightning or anything exciting here - just rain, and temps still in the 60’s.
Good morning to me! 3/4” of rain.
Good Morning!
We had a firewood delivery in the driveway this morning. We can get around it though.
I guess I know what my chore this afternoon will be.
Good Morning!
No need for firewood here, but I had the gas fire on earlier.
The girls and I got our hair cut. We all look very tidy now.
I finally had to throw in the towel and get butched Monday. It will be plenty warm soon enough....and I just like short hair anyway.
Mine was awful. Even the spray-in conditioner couldn’t keep it from frizzing out 5 inches - like a show poodle. And my mother is coming next week :-).
I don’t get frizzy, just wavy.
How long is mom staying for?
Arriving Tuesday morning, leaving Wednesday afternoon.
Short visit. The best kind.
My late, ex-monster-in-law said, “Fish and company should be thrown out after three days.”
I’m okay with longer visits, but the noise and crowds here make Mom cranky after a fairly short time. She usually takes some of the kids to a movie, which gets her some space :-).
I know the feeling! LOL!
I often forget what it’s like to be around kids of any age, so when I’m forced to be with them, I have to remind myself they are only being kids, and I shouldn’t be so selfish.
It works!
Mom volunteers for Vacation Bible School at her church every year ... and every year she says she’ll never do it again!
I sympathize - sleeping on a sofa in a house with 10 other people and 12 pets (or do we have more, now?) isn’t what she’s used to.
My “incarceration” with my daughter and her two step-children for almost three months was a fate worse than death. I’ve never seen such rude, ugly children as those two were.
By the time I moved out, they were at least saying “please” and “thank you.” But MAN! That was hard work!
LOL!
Morning/afternoon. You should see what the Florida humidity does to my hair lol.
I’ve always wanted to move to the desert, so my hair would go straight!
Right. And when the wind blows, and the humidity gets down to 3%, your hair will then act as a really good static conductor, and it will stick out from your head in all directions.
*snort*
Even as straight as my hair is, I have to use a “non-frizz” product for when the wind blows for days at a time.
Three friends from the local congregation were asked, ‘When you’re in your casket, and friends and congregation members are mourning over you, what would you like them to say?’
Artie said: ‘I would like them to say I was a wonderful husband, a fine spiritual leader, and a great family man.’
Eugene commented: ‘I would like them to say I was a Wonderful teacher and servant of God who made a huge difference in people’s lives.’
Al said: ‘I’d like them to say, ‘Look, he’s moving!’
