So, with gasolene prices bobbing up and down. And the economy also bobbing! When and what will it take to get rel action n Aternative energy?Nikola tesla(1856-1943) had the answer more then a 100 years ago! That of broadcasting wirelessly eletric power! He even set up a braodcasting tower for this at Wardecylle,Long Island(Now Shoreham, L.I.) But when he mentioned FREE ELECTRIOC POWER to hs financial backer the great Robber Baron J.P. Morga. Whos meatered eletric power intreste would have been ruined. The money was removed and Tesla went into a life long debt!To honor Dr. Tesla in 2005 and 2006 I organized the GLOBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY held every July 10th the birthdate anniversary of Dr tesla. To rembewr Tesla and promote ALTERNATIVE ENERGY AND FUELS,VeHICLES. See the Tesla memorial Society www.teslasociety.com And Pure Energy Systems A Community Built Alternative energy site www.Peswiki.comNikola Tesla/GloBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY. No!!!!! What is neeeded is REAL ACTIO NOW!!!! Perhaps at least a Day to rember Nikola tesla And PROMTING ALTERNATIVE ENERGY is one way to do this?
I want some fish...but...I need a bigger place. *sigh*
Your short sentences read like chapter headings.
We used to have an acrylic fish bowl that hung on the wall like a picture - flat on one side, curved on the other.
Everything Bill does is a chapter.
That would be cool!
I want a fairly good-sized aquarium...I actually want the sounds of the filter and the vision of the fish...sort of a feng shui kinda thing, for good vibes...;o]
I think Anoreth’s aquarium is 5-gallon. She’s got five or six little fish. The bettas live in vases :-).
Yah...I’ve seen the betas in vases. I just had mine in a gallon tank. He was really funny.
Survived Wal-mart trip, got wine and pretzels. Der Prinz and Bill are going to the Cub Scouts’ Pinewood Derby this evening; he’ll want a Restorative when he gets home :-).
Wednesday follewed me into the bathroom and accused me of felonious cat-neglect. Shannon stuck her paws under the door and griped!
Yep. Catz iz catz! Maybe they need a restorative? How long has it been since they’ve had some catnip?
They have a corrugated-cardboard scratching-thing that has catnip on it. Shannon likes to sit there and chew on the cardboard.
LOL!
These two get so bored with catnip. They prefer my old bunny slippers for “real” fun!
Wednesday doesn’t seem to notice the catnip. Maybe her sense of smell is impaired by old age. She’s just turned up to eat.
My ol’ PV had a brain tumor his last six months, and he couldn’t smell his food or water. I had to put it right in front of him and coax him to eat. If he ate a little and came back later, he’d cry, even if there was food in his dish, so I had to do the same thing ~~ wet his nose or stick a piece of food in his mouth. I miss that ol’ man-cat.
It’s sad when our catz are declining. For all I know, Wednesday comes down and rolls on the catnip when we’re in bed. She’s very sensitive to ridicule!
A dignified ol’ lady-cat, eh? She’s got my vote!
I know one thing for sure: her last days are much better because of you and your family. I hope she lives every one of her nine lives in your keeping.
Wednesday is a pretty easy cat, now that we’ve fixed her medical issues. We’re happy to have her ... and she gives Shannon someone to play with.
I’m sure Wednesday is a surrogate mom for Shannon.
For sure, I’d have another kitten if I had a bigger place! Maybe even a dog....
The cat-rescue person who placed Shannon said that she’d been rescued with three other kittens from the same litter, so she was used to playing with other cats. It’s really funny to see her go up to Wednesday and put her front legs around her neck to start a scuffle!
LOL!
I can imagine! Like that YouTube clip with the feisty kitten and the adult cat...I have that clip on my hard drive and bring it out on my really bad days.
I think Wednesday likes it but doesn’t want to admit it!
