So, with gasolene prices bobbing up and down. And the economy also bobbing! When and what will it take to get rel action n Aternative energy?Nikola tesla(1856-1943) had the answer more then a 100 years ago! That of broadcasting wirelessly eletric power! He even set up a braodcasting tower for this at Wardecylle,Long Island(Now Shoreham, L.I.) But when he mentioned FREE ELECTRIOC POWER to hs financial backer the great Robber Baron J.P. Morga. Whos meatered eletric power intreste would have been ruined. The money was removed and Tesla went into a life long debt!To honor Dr. Tesla in 2005 and 2006 I organized the GLOBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY held every July 10th the birthdate anniversary of Dr tesla. To rembewr Tesla and promote ALTERNATIVE ENERGY AND FUELS,VeHICLES. See the Tesla memorial Society www.teslasociety.com And Pure Energy Systems A Community Built Alternative energy site www.Peswiki.comNikola Tesla/GloBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY. No!!!!! What is neeeded is REAL ACTIO NOW!!!! Perhaps at least a Day to rember Nikola tesla And PROMTING ALTERNATIVE ENERGY is one way to do this?

I was planning to do some yardwork, having failed to do it yesterday! Yards here are buried (not deep) in white Global Warming Attack residue.

Our temperature has dropped into the mid-50’s. I think I’ll fail to do the yardwork again today. Tomorrow’s forecast is 40’s and rain.

Forecasts for here have changed from rain the next couple of days to snow, with temps not rising above 40F.
I think the lawnmower will remain in the garage, and LoM & I will go see "Horton Hears a Who" instead. *\;-)

Excellent idea! I always loved that story!
At one time, I had all of Dr. Seuss’s books. I wish I still had them, as many were First Editions.

I see they’re selling advance tickets for Prince Caspian. It’s been almost 50 years since I read the Narnia series...

Let us know if you like it. We were looking in the newspaper this morning, and there wasn’t anything the kids wanted to see.

We lost our global warming. The Yellow Face is out, causing me to close my blinds and hide.

Will do. LoM and I both heard good reports of it on conservative radio talk shows yesterday.

We lost our global warming. The Yellow Face is out, causing me to close my blinds and hide. No Yellow Face here -- solid overcast. Global Warming is melting, but slowly.

Afraid of the sun? Are you a vampire? We're in (near) Seattle. Where we don't see the sun very much in winter (and fall and spring), and when we do -- it's hard on the eyes. There is a reason why the per-capita ownership (or was it sales?) of sunglasses is higher in Seattle than anywhere else.
There's probably a reason why Seattleites eat more pizza than others too, but I can't figure it.

We had Papa John’s here last night. I’m rather pale, for living where I do, I need to get more sunlight.
