Texas and Ohio freepers should vote for Hillary
self | 2-13-08 | Engine82

No doubt Hillary is the weakest candidate on the democrat side. Assuming Texas and Ohio have open primaries and the GOP nomination has been clinched by McCain republican voters in Ohio and Texas should ask for a democrat ballot and mark Hillary's name.

Sending the two liberal democrats into a convention without a clear nominee is good for Republicans.

If you have a friend who lives in Ohio and Texas send them an email asking them to muddy the waters for the democrats by voting for Hillary.

THE SCIENCE OF PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN POLITICS

1) Pundit makes hypothesis
2) “Experiment” (a.k.a. “election”) proves hypothesis wrong

— here we digress from REAL science —

3) Pundit SPINS results, grasping at straws to explain why hypothesis really WAS right even though the results contradicted the hypothesis

...hey, just like economics! Or MSNBC explaining why the market is down when it was up yesterday.

Crunching the data from my own observations, I obtain the following results:

2.3165% of “conventional wisdom” is accurate and the rest is pure unadulterated bovine excrement. I have not yet figured out which category any particular piece of C.W. falls into.

I’m gonna trust my gut, thanks.

Never bet on Hillary never vote for any Clinton. Never never never never

FR had its roots (1995 or so) in an old Prodigy mailing list that was anti Clinton anti Whitewater scams. Lets not lose that.

Never vote Clinton never.

Just one more point to make, in order for Hillary Clinton to equal Barack Obama in the current pledged delegates (no Super Delegates included) count she needs to win both Ohio and Texas by 70% to 30% margin.

If she wins Texas and Ohio then she'll have the regular delegates. I want to force her to play her super-delegates to steal the nomination. It won't be entertaining unless this happens.

Vote Obama

Hillary will put Obama on the ticket if she wins. She will have to.

NO. It will be Harold Ford, Jr. He is also a "black who looks white." However, he does not carry the anti-Clinton baggage.

Free Republic will be shut down if Hillary Clinton is President and I am not joking. People should not take the risk of Hillary Clinton becoming President even if it is 1% chance.

This is so stupid it’s criminal. Anyone who wants freepers to save Hellary does not have our best interests at heart. Better to keep silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. My doubts were just obliterated.

Why would you ask that of anyone to give their right to vote for all the other postions that are on the ballot?..... In other words you’d ask that a Republican voter in Texas not vote in the Senator race, Congressional race, State Judges, State senators/representatives, District attorneys, and other races......

I don’t think that is even a reasonable request even if you did likewise in Geogria when you voted. I’m sure Hillary was happy with your support but no thanks I’ll pass.

But its so tempting to put her away NOW!

Can't be done. It's like Jason in the horror flick. Why is it I know I'll still be hearing about the Clintons when I'm 92 years old?

The point isn’t to make Hillary the nominee, it’s to set up the Dems for a civil war at the convention. With that said, I don’t know if the strategy is worth it or not.

I have to disagree. I believe Obama would be much easier to beat in a general election. Hillary can hold the Kerry vote and there will be a block of women who will vote for her just because she’s a woman. Obama will lose a LOT of Hispanics to someone like McCain, and will lose a significant number of conservative and moderate Democrats because of his race.

Blacks 13% of the electorate
Women 53% of the electorate

It’s simple math. Plus, he’s an empty suit who has not been defined yet. He’s got to defend the most liberal record in the Senate. No candidate with as liberal a past record has won the White House since...since...well, never.
