I bought an expensive Tempur-Pedic. It was ok, but I still felt the springs. The best mattresses I’ve owned were bought overseas. They were the type without inner springs and designed to sit on top of flexible slats. Otherwise, an air mattress is better, too.

Did not know they had springs. My granddaughter bought one from Overstock, does not have springs, and she loves it.

I would not want one with springs, but still have been hesitant about making a commitment.

The Tempur-pedic mattress is a big block of foam - it doesn't have springs. I like mine, just don't buy the cheaper knock-off from Serta. It's harder and less effective.
