Looks like a red x to me. :)
Right click your mouse and click on show picture. If that doesn't work I can come up with plan 2. Let me know.
I didn't totally understand this reference but I will observe that if someone made a comparsion with the TV show Quantum Leap (which I admit I have never seen) there might be a closer comparsion with Slaughterhouse-Five and Billy Pilgrim becoming "unstuck in time".
The whole storyline with Demond reminded me very much of that.
Just a random misfire...
me too, if I am not already.....thx...
I’m pretty sure we can. Right before he kills the guy on the golf course, he introduces himself as one of the Oceanic 6.
I’m not sure about counting Aaron as one of the six. It seemed like Kate had claimed him as her own son. If Claire wasn’t one of the 6 then how could they say she had a baby on the island if she supposedly died in the crash? How long were they really gone? It seems like time runs differently on the island. Wouldn’t people assume he was conceived as well as born on the island? Who’s supposed to be his daddy?
When Jack was testifying on Kate's behalf he said that there were originally 8 survivors of the crash and two later died, so I guess that could possibly mean that Claire was one of the two who didn't survive, AFTER she had her baby.
“The death of Jin could have occurred on the island just before they left or after they got back.”
I was under the impression that Jin was still alive, but for some reason, living in China working for Mr. whats-his-name.
But that is because I thought the Jin scenes were flash forwards too.
Were they really flashbacks?
What was the purpose of making Jin’s scenes flashbacks?
To confuse us, I s’pose. I was confused up until the end, when it showed him giving the panda to the ambasador for Mr. Paik. Although I wondered if he wasn’t just working for Suns dad again in the future. Then he said he was just married and I knew it was a flash back.
I’m wondering if the’ll start writing the flash forwards and flash backs in, so that eventually we’ll start getting confused with what the “real” time is and it’ll be harder to tell which is which? Maybe working toward the finale of the show that way? ....don’t know....
ok...back when I heard that the actor who plays Jin was pulled over for DUI, I thought “oh boy...his days are numbered” - because that is why Ana Lucia and Libby are gone.
I guess fair is fair and Jin had to die.

LOST has a lot of opportunities for mind-blowing revelations, rather than simple misdirection. At least they will be flashing back to Libby this episode, but I doubt they will reveal why she was in the psych ward with Hurley.
Re-examining the whole flashback aspect of LOST with respect to time travel comes back to whether the flashbacks are more than narrative devices. Assuming the flashbacks are similar to Desmond’s time travel, there would have to be some kind of stabilizing factor to not make the passengers disoriented like Desmond became when he left the island. Another possibility is that the flashbacks are really some kind of island examining device, where the island, or some Hanso tech, looks back into the lives of people who come on the island for emotionally intense moments. It’s probably just a narrative device though.
Of course, the other thing that happened the episode that Michael sailed away is the discovery of the four-toed foot statue. That has even less of a chance of being explained though.
In fact, I think there is a good chance that Michael won’t even remember being on the island, suffering from a milder form of accidental time-travel that Desmond went through.
Woo-Hoo! It’s Thursday already!!
Anyone else lost the audio starting 45 minutes in? This is annoying. The local station crawler says its in the feed from ABC.
Ok, back at about 48 after. Missed that whole segment. But of course they get their commercials in.
Thanks for the ping.
Who sunk the durn plane? Widmore, or Ben?
Forget about that. Why is Widmore interested in the Island in the first place?
And how come the island won’t let Michael die, but it let a bunch of others die while they were on the island?
Wait, someone just pointed out on tvsquad that the house that Miles went to to “talk to the spirits” was Walt’s grandmother’s house. Can someone check this out? And I guess he had to be talking to Walt. But why did the island let Walt die and not Michael?
What info did Miles get from Walt? And I guess that’s how Miles knew who Michael really was.
