“You haven’t seen the end of dumb moves at Tribal Council,” teases Jeff Probst, “Tonight’s episode is one where you go ‘You’ve got to be kidding me…this didn’t just happen…how could this happen 16 seasons in?’“
And a couple of comments from a recent (i.e. this week) Jeff Probst interview:
“Boy, I really hope people are watching this season of Survivor because week after week it gets better. This week, the idol comes into play again in a completely different way. Something that’s never happened before with the idol, happens.”
“And, first James had the title of biggest blunder. He gave it to Ozzy. Ozzy gave it to Jason. In my opinion, Jason can take it off of his head and give it someone else this week. It’s incredible what continues to happen at Tribal Council on Survivor: Fans Vs. Favorites. You will enjoy this week’s episode.”
As far as the Reward Challenge is concerned, they haven’t given us squat to go on. No previews, no vidcaps, no NOTHIN’! Therefore it must be so lame, that even they are ashamed to promote it. We do know that whoever is sent to Exile Island finds the re-re-re-hidden Immunity Idol. To be honest, I doubt any of the women are dumb enough to send Erik to Exile Island and run the risk of him finding the HII. Therefore, in order for Erik to end up with the HII, he will need to win the Reward Challenge and send himself to Exile Island.
The Immunity Challenge appears to be a race along a set path, using two ropes stretched across compass points and where they intersect, digging in a sand pit to find a bag of puzzle pieces. Racing back to their puzzle table and solving the puzzle. The first player to finish this Challenge, wins the ugly necklace and is guaranteed a 1 in 4 chance at the million bucks. I think that Erik again wins the ugly necklace.
Now, as far as Tribal Council is concerned, here is what I think is going to happen. I have no evidence to back up my speculations. So take the following for what it is. Just a gut feeling. Erik has both the HII and the ugly necklace. He knows that tonight is the last night to use the HII. He makes a promise to Natalie that if it looks as if she is the intended target at Tribal Council, he will throw everybody for a loop and give her the Ugly Necklace at Tribal Council. Then since he has the HII, any votes for him will be nullified. Therefore either Parvati, Cirie or Amanda will be the one to go. However, at Tribal Council, he goes back on his word and instead of giving Natalie the Ugly Necklace, he gives it to Amanda instead. Natalie is blindsided and voted out of the game.
