Wow. Great first show.

Initial impressions:
1) The "Favorites" were way over confident and the "Fans" kicked serious butt in the challenge.
2) The Jonathan/Ami alliance has great potential to be a super alliance, until they get fed up with each other. I predict a big fallout sooner rather than later.
3) Oz and James: Getting played early. Wow! These guys are thinking with the wrong heads.
4) I can't wait to see James and Joel go head to head in some physical challenge.

I think it's going to be a great season!

James vs. Joel should be great, if it happens.

I remember Tom vs. Bobby Jon from Survivor Palau. Tom (older guy, firefighter) was able to get the best of the younger guy most of the time. Also Stephenie vs. Jenn. Two women who were real physical competitors (not the oh-I-broke-a-nail types) and a good match for each other.
