I grew up in a mixed welfare & working class area. One neighborhood mom said to my mom that she couldn’t understand why her son was not automatically enrolled for his own welfare when he turned 18.
Sigh...
God help us if that ever becomes an option. That 18 year old needed to be out finding a job.
