It is also a rather tenuous thing to pigeonhole the people in a nation of over 500 million that springs from as many individual nations/cultures as Europe has. Or judge the way they act after living under a century of tyranny. It didn't take long to turn the good Judeo/Christian people of Germany into monsters and it was done without threatening them.
