It may seem like I'm making too fine a point of it but I see a big difference between hunting, fishing and even butchering domestic livestock than what they are doing in this zoo. What you do to catch fish is necessary to catch the fish. I won't fault you for enjoying the process. What they are doing in the zoo is unnecessary to the end of feeding the lions. The only purpose for the methods used is to entertain the visitors.
FWIW I wouldn't even call for outlawing it. Let their society decide if it's appropriate or not. The best I can say about it is they are not killing solely for the sake of killing. But it's close.
Lions killing animals. What’s the big deal. See that on those TV nature shows all the time.
Sigh. You got me. All these animals are being treated like animals should be. I musta missed my turtle head coin toss.

I am a long way from ignorant of the realities of life and nature. But you are ignoring the fact that these lions are not in the wild and humans are making all the choices as to how they are fed.
Off-topic. Next.
That was my point.........that you can’t find an example.
If any of this really bothered me, which it doesn't, it would be that they tease the lions with the chickens.
You did and still are ignoring that fact. Sorry, that’s just the truth of it.
SAVAGES.
These are the SAVAGES whom we are making wealthy with OUR export dollars. the SAVAGES Globalist corporate executives in America are making rich by off shoring of American jobs, the SAVAGES who are stealing our military technology through criminal technological deals with rogue American corporations whose bottom line is the buck, the SAVAGES who are using our dollars to expand their military machine in a way unseen since NAZI Germany and Imperialist Japan.
This is no different from what is shown on Discovery or National Geographic every day. The fact that carnivores actually kill their food is not a lesson the young should miss.
Do any of you “nay-sayers” on this thread understand the real sick problem here?
THEY’RE USING THIS AS LIVE (IN-PERSON!) ENTERTAINMENT EVEN FOR CHILDREN.
As poster “Mark” indicated, they’re basically sucking the humanity out of people, starting with children who will think it’s funny somehow that innocent life just gets torn to pieces.
I don’t think that dangling chickens for jollies, or throwing coins at turtle heads is treating animals correctly.
Freegards
??????????????????????
Are you SERIOUS???????
The one has absolutely NOTHING to do with the other.
Get a reality check.
No, you just are out of touch with reality.
There is no connection and this isn’t a joking matter.
Man id discernible form the rest of the animal kingdom in that he was created in the image of God, with a human spirit. His purpose is involved in the angelic conflict, which is something the rest of the animal kingdom has no part.
Every man will either be raised to heaven, face to face with the Lord, or shall undergo the Great White Throne Judgment, which is never a destiny for the remainder of the animal kingdom.
Man has the natural man, but all we are required to sacrifice is the natural man through faith in Christ for eternal life.
Guess those of us that still kill and eat our food have lost our humanity. So be it.
That is completely false on the face of it. Animals in the wild fend for themselves and humans had no choice in that. Animals in captivity are entirely under the control of humans who make every choice for them.
The fact that carnivores actually kill their food is not a lesson the young should miss.
Animals in captivity have no need to do that and they are in no way doing that in this circumstance. Even if there were young in this pen of lions (and none appear in the photos) there is no hunting going on there and no pride heirarchy exists there for any teaching to go on.
I wonder what Carol McKenna has to say about THAT?!?
Some animals are more equal then others...
That is a very nice emotional strawman but I don't think anyone is making that extrapolation.
