i think you are right though about the mental illness. But she is definately also a drug and alcohol user and abuser. Hopefully all will become apparent in her evaluation. There are drug addicts and alcoholics and there are the same with distinct mental illnesses such as bi polar etc and I think you pinned her right in many ways as I believe she is the latter. You are picking up on her mental illness vibe as you are probably very savvy. I think her mental illness became apparent to me when I saw her behavior stone sober in recovery. Sometimes it takes that to tell which—chicken, egg or both.
Yeah, I may have it wrong - I’m not a “Britney expert,” but I’ve had a number of “sponsees” in AA who were addicts. She’s certainly an alcoholic, but not full-blown yet.
