Maybe Im not sufficiently up on these sorts of things, but why would she be on a stretcher, unrestrained, unless she tried to take her life or something?
She looked like she was conscious and one arm was unrestrained.
She and Amy Winehouse are going to be dead by summer if someone doesnt step up and take control.

The 'entitled' always do when you tell them they're not running the show.
The worst part of this is, these poptarts are role models for a lot of impressionable young girls. They look at them going to the bars every night and driving expensive cars and getting away with DUIs over and over.
It’s hard to say how many kids have gotten into trouble mimicking these idiots.
To me it looks like she is either laughing or screaming. I can’t tell. Her mouth is open.

If you or I disobeyed court orders as many times as she has, we would be sitting in the county clink eating baloney sandwiches and wearing orange coveralls. She got away with missing court four or five times and got away with it.
Yep, and in that kind of situation you don't want to be caught doing either.
I can’t even begin to comprehend what it would be like to have that going on. Not at all. My baby steps (22 years ago next month) were in a mid-sized city, but with lots of country home-based potlucks and good stuff like that thrown in.
Moved back to big city and it’s not quite the same, peoplewise. Love it, anyway! The internet has a lot to do with the 24/7 photos and paps stuff. I was in meetings with a sitting governor of my state and nary a person would’ve known.
I blame it all on Bob Dole. He broke her heart.

Robert Altman’s “The Player” has a wonderful scene where the production executive is going to a meeting, not because he needs to, just because it’s where everybody else important in the industry is. I was working in the business in L.A. during the heavy cokeing days of the eighties. After the Heavens Gate fiasco, the studios accounting departments finally decreed that they weren’t going to deal with ‘auteurs’ who couldn’t keep their noses away from mirrors. Within a very short time thereafter, Altman’s scene became reality.
She’s circling the chrome exit in my opinion, slowly, but circling. But help’s useless to someone who won’t ask for it.
I believe this is a progression, isn’t it? She hadn’t been hospitalized before, I don’t think - but I don’t really keep up.
I’ve seen some meltdowns, but nothing to get her institutionalized, when they wouldn’t even jail her for her traffic no-no’s.
I’d say this is a ramping down a notch - but we’ll have to see what they “announce” as what happened (the “unknown substance,” for instance) - and then interpret what the real story might be.
If the court forces it on her, it won’t matter if she asks or not.
It finally worked with Robert Downey Jr. and Christian Slater. It could work with her.
Let her sit in jail for a few weeks...without her money and her kids and her drooling sycophants...her attitude will change real fast.
She is just a brat that has never been told NO..
