So I look out and your landlord is standing at my gate waving a paper.

I holler that I have to find my shoes and I go out there. He’s chuckling and telling me that he opened the reminder for our Ranger registration, didn’t notice that it was ours, went down to DMV and paid for it, went to put it on his van, notices that his does not expire till November, and then notices that the registration is for a Ford Ranger and it has my name on it. So he has our registration and new car tabs, and wants $55.

So I wrote him a check. I guess we don’t have to go now.

I’m a little surprised that they’d ~let~ him renew our car tabs.

Oh dear...I guess it saves a trip to *town*, but that’s a bit scary. Seems like they should check ID and that, no?

The mail situation has been screwy lately. Last week I got a bunch of their mail and bills and something from the Health Department (hm...) and such. I’m thinking maybe I need to get some new letters for the mailbox. Or something. I think the mail person gets lazy sometimes or something. :-\

LOL... Now *that’s* funny.

But why not? I doubt there’s many people that go around renewing other people’s tabs.

I wonder if they’d let you change the name and address. That’s a pretty good way to steal a car. :-)

Evening Hair - and you didn’t have to go the DMV, that is a true case of ‘all’s well that ends well.’
