Tis true.
Good luck - Corin. On the search and dinner. btw - Sun’s over the yard arm..Merlot might help.
True enough... ‘cept then they tell you to dump out standing water so you aren’t breeding mosquitos. I keep two 55 gallon water barrels and lots of buckets full all the time in case of power outages, but they’re sealed up.

Doubt I'll care much after that...
Yeah, skeeters are an issue.
Wife looked into buyin me a purple martin birdhouse fer Christmas, but the folks at the bird store said we got too many trees. Apparently they need pasture land.
I’m thinkin’ bat houses are next.
Gotta get back to werk...
Nice choice.
Reviewer’s Note:
The scent of clove is gentle, but unmistakable. There’s a faint berry sweetness on the tongue.
That sounds intriguing Corin...
And there’s this -
Editor’s Note:
Indeed, this wine is full bodied, yet the Cab Franc and other grapes add levity, the result being a complex mix of light cloves, soft vanilla, and a bit of blackberry. Quite good, and well worth trying.
Hmm. Sounds good. Have one for us.
Excellent choice with an interesting story -
“Many growers farm the area’s land, but its image is dominated by Bogle Winery, the pioneer in the area and the only large wine producer in the Clarksburg AVA.
Visiting Bogle, however, you’d think you were in southern Louisiana, not California.
You drive along the tops of levees holding back a river higher than surrounding farms and houses, and many of the Victorian homes with wide verandas could serve as sets for a Gothic romances. Drawbridges and swing bridges cross the many channels and a few roads cross waterways on tiny ferries pulled across along cables.”
That is a wonderful collection of plants you have in the sunroom. Delightful to eye, pleasing to the palate. Good luck on transplanting and critter control.
The scene from “Second Hand Lions”, with Michael Cane and Robert Duval setting on the front porch with shotguns, comes to mind when we conjur up Overtaxed Critter Control in our mind’s eye.
I has a DVR.
Ah cool! And you’re on your own internet?
Heh. I figure in my retirement I’ll be the little ol’ lady rocking on the porch with a shotgun for the critters.
I think I’ll need more shelves and grow lights. Next winter’s garden will be better planned.
You’re still going to come over for LOST ain’t ya? It’s about our only social event of the week that actually includes other people :~)
I hear rumor that the old barn you often see in the background of our pasture pics is full of bats.
My friend Kay put a Purple Martin house up... they look cool, though I don’t even know if we ~have~ Purple Martins.
Sure! I was kinda wondering about that.
LOST is much more fun when you have other folks to discuss conspiracies with. ;-)
Ugh...now to adjust my brain to the idea of driving an hour.
Yeah, I’m on my own internet.
Have a new e-mail address, too. I hadn’t thought about some of those little things. I dunno how much I’ll use it, but it’s there.
It’s the only email I use :~)
Is it a lot faster? Should be, you weren’t getting a real strong connection before on the wireless.
It’s most definitely speedier. Kind of scary fast, actually.
Did he run a whole new line from the pole? Or did he find one already there?
I um...actually didn’t watch the outdoor part. I think he ran a new one, but I’m not sure!
