An empty vodka bottle was also found in a car used by Amritpal Dhaliwal, 19, and his brother, Kulbir, 23, on the day of the mauling, which left 17-year-old Carlos Sousa Jr. dead, according to the source.
The discoveries could be an indication that the brothers may have taunted the 350-pound Siberian tiger before it leapt from its grotto.

Alleycats do 12 feet ALL THE TIME!
Zoo employees have known for decades that tigers can and did jump the moat at this enclosure.

Or perhaps a crime they had gotten away with before?
Let's see. It's late on Christmas Day. The zoo is many miles away. These men (they're not boys!) first lie to the father about his son's whereabouts. Next thing we know they're at the zoo at closing time (after dark?) and they just happen to have SLINGSHOTS with them. They probably were drinking.
Up til now, I had thought they simply got rowdy while visiting the zoo. But, with the revelation of the slingshots, I now think they'd probably done this before. Though we'll never know, I'd bet the older brothers were showing off for the younger boy.
Justice in this case would be to find BOTH the zoo and the boys equally negligent. Pay their medical bills, give $1,000,000 to the dead boy's father. Make the zoo donate $5 million to a tiger preservation charity.
It's simply the case that tigers have been able to get out of this confinement for many years, and NO ONE KNOWS (or will admit knowing) that they could get out!
What I want to know is what reports the police have had over the years of people leaving home, supposedly on their way to the zoo, and then never returning.
This case should be decided by a jury of the dead tiger’s peers.
One paw stroke means guilty, two paw strokes means innocent.
Jumping the moat is not the same as getting out of the enclosure. I still have not seen anyone say this tiger or any other tiger had actually gotten out before.
The zoo is in deep trouble.
Even morons like these three kids have a reasonable expectation that the tigers stay in the tiger enclosure.
Hard to believe the zoo know of the risk and did nothing
To all freepers who do not believe the zoo is at fault:
If the tiger had mauled and killed an innocent family, you all would be singing a different tune.
The problem with zoos everywhere is that Goobermint forgets fences are not built to keep wild animals enclosed, but to exclude members of the planet's dominant predator species from their pens.
Best regards,
Still, "before" isn't the issue ~ fact is the tiger got out this time!

I’m not talking about what our esteemed (cough) legal system will find in this case. I believe you’re correct unfortunately. These punks had SOMETHING to do with it though, so I hate the fact the “poor, innocent victims’” are gonna make money over their “friend” AND the dead cat’s body. I have faith in them though, they’ll wear all their newfound bling in the wrong neighboorhood one day and meet up with a different kind of predator.
Maybe the new police tactic should be drop off the criminal element at the zoo after 5:00.
“What I want to know is what reports the police have had over the years of people leaving home, supposedly on their way to the zoo, and then never returning.”
Okay, now I know you are just playing with us. You had me going for awhile!!
We also have reasonable expectations that prisoners will be kept behind their walls.
If an illegal immigrant escaped from prison and went on a killing spree after being taunted by a couple of kids outside the prison walls, you can guarantee the posters here would not be taking the side of the prisoner or the prison.
And that may be why plans went wrong. Sikh and you shall find. (not meant to be a pun jab...)
. . . .
UHHHH . . . .
But certainly a pun job well done.
Isn’t Shiva the god of destruction? Quite cultural and all.
The MSM must be pleased.
Inquiring minds wish to know if this has meaning.
Choosing the *consequences* of your choice is not, and never has been, an option. This is why it is smart for one to consider potential consequences *before* making a choice.
Will he channel the tiger?

possibly not . . . but it’s rumored that they go to the same claw sharpener.
The tiger used to get a discount.
the problem.

PART OF the problem.
